  • The Cheap gravity Racking Metal Gravity Rack System is being trial assembly
The Gravity Flow Racking we produce usually be trial assembly before transportation , The picture above is the gravity flow racking which will be export to the Israel. with the strictly testing, we will ensure the quality of the racking trouble-free operation. The Gravity Flow Racking is also called pallet flow racking, whose rollers are fixed up in the beam of the shelf at a fixed gradient and then put the pallet from the high side and it will be fallen depending in its own gravitation. In order to control the pallet in the steady speed and avoid the collision, a set of damping system will be set up on the roller line at every certain distance since the faster speed pallet slide, the more the resistance that damped system caused. Working on a " first-in-first-out" basis, gravity flow racking provides extremely high storage density in a given area. Which is widely used in various industries. With the Storage Metal Gravity Rack System. it can reduce the manual cost, also increase the effective of you warehouse, but it is better to provide you warehouse drawing before you make a order, cause the Gravity Flow Racking have a limit of the horizontal level ground. so just contact us for free. • Mezzanine Floor Design Guide
Mezzanine Floor Design Guide Mezzanine floors are a great way of increasing floor space, However a poorMezzanine floor design may could be costly and may not provide the benefits you were hoping for. Tips: • The most economical column spacing is around 3metres. If you need greater open space under the floor the columns can be set further apart at an increasing cost. • The optimum height of the mezzanine floor shouldbe 2.7m – 3m (to the top of the floor). This avoids using an expensive mid-staircase landing. • The normal floor loading for a storage platform is4.8kN/m 2 (480Kg per m 2 ). • The loads above are based on evenly spread loads and don`t take into account the point loads that would be imposed by shelving or pallet trucks. In most cases this doesn`t cause a problem. however a heavy point load could punch a hole through chipboard decking – beware! • If you`re planning an open storage platform keep the size to less than 10m in each direction and follow the points above for the most economical design. • If you`re planning to lift pallets onto the storage platform then you`ll need to include a pallet gate, ideally somewhere near the top of the stairs. • Locating the mezzanine floor in the corner of your building will save on the amount ofhandrail that you`ll need and this will reduce the cost. • Protect Your Racking From Accidental Damage
Protect Your Racking From Accidental Damage When your business invests in good quality racking and shelving, it is a good idea to try and protect it from accidental damage. You can't legislate for every eventuality but you can, with a few carefully placed barriers and protectors, minimise the risks. The most common form of damage is from fork lift trucks. These machines carry a lot of momentum and those strong and thin forks that make it easy to pick up pallets are also capable of inflicting a lot of damage. The best way to guard against this is to have a combination of protective products installed in all the key areas of your warehouse. Corner pallet racking posts are particularly vulnerable, single post steel rack protectors offer an affordable way to protect them and are simply fixed to the floor. It is not always necessary to affix protectors to every post, it is best to identify the key points of entry and exit along with high frequency traffic aisles to map out the most strategic installation points. In those situations where fixing to the ground is not an option, our plastic protection guards can be used as they utilise Velcro fastening straps. Steel barriers (as shown in the photograph) are available in a number of different styles and these can be used to protect whole end frame sections. Remember, the affected racking sections should be unloaded immediately and clearly marked as not suitable for use until fixed. Not having a storage area available for even a short space of time could seriously impact your warehouse operations. Ignoring the damage and continuing to use the racking will put added load onto other components and you run the risk of a major racking collapse. When there are damaged pallet racking components, we would advise that you have a racking safety inspection conducted to assess the whole structure and to recommend the right course of action to get back to a safe working condition.

  • Pallet Racking Safety Tips
Pallet racking systems offer the most cost-effective solution for storing large quantities of palletised goods. Their inherent strength and durability make them perfect for use in warehouses, factories and distribution centers but care has to be taken to ensure the racks are safe to use no matter what the application. Whether you are designing a new pallet racking solution or using existing storage racks, there are many things to consider to ensure maximum safety. To help you achieve the safest warehouse storage solution for your business we have compiled a list of pallet racking safety tips, try to implement as many as you can in your storage facility: Always purchase new pallet racking from a respectable supplier. Used items may be cheaper but you will not know the history or specification of the components. Have new racking installed by professionals. Pallet racking is generally very tall and capable of holding substantial weights - if something goes wrong the results are often catastrophic. Ensure all parts are secured to the floor and all beams are sitting correctly within the frames, locking pins inserted. Check you have them installed and that all loads adhere to the stated capacities. Ensure all loads are safely positioned on the racks, irregular shaped or unstable pallets should be on the floor level. When using smaller than standard sized pallets, use wire mesh or slatted timber decks for correct support. Install guard barriers as well as upright and corner protectors to safeguard vulnerable areas from damage. Do not make fork lift trucks squeeze through narrow gaps - this is a common cause of accidental damage. Install walkway barriers to keep pedestrians away from fork lift trucks. Retain a clear path to all fire exits. Keep aisles clear from debris - providing waste sacks at the end of every row can help staff keep the warehouse tidy. All of these tips will help to ensure your heavy duty pallet racking remains a safe and secure warehouse storage solution. If you have an doubts as to the safety or integrity of your existing pallet rack systems then please contact us.
